Automated Check-In:
• Outpost at Cragford is a fully automated campground. Online reservations and signed Docs must be completed online prior to arrival. Guests are NOT required to check in at arrival and may proceed directly to their assigned site after 2:00pm.
• Gate code will be emailed the morning of check in.
• The One-Way loop is gravel. Heavy loads or soft conditions can damage the road system. Where available, please use 4-wheel drive during arrival and departure.
• For park assistance when on property, text or call 256-780-8299. For emergencies, call 911.
Outpost at Cragford Cancellation Policy
• Reservations: Full payment will be due at time of booking. A $3 non-refundable fee is required for all reservations. This fee covers all processing fees for all refundable cancellations.
Refunds for Cancellations
• Up to 7 days before arrival: 100% full refund minus $20 processing fee.
• Up to 72 hours before arrival: A 50% refund minus $20 processing fee.
• Within 72 hours of arrival: All cancellations made within 72 hours of the reservation date are non-refundable.
• Early departures: No refunds or prorations will be provided for early departures, weather conditions, acts of nature, or evictions.
• Monthly reservations: Monthly stay cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the reservation date to receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee.
• Weekly reservations: Weekly stay cancellations must follow the same timeline and rules as standard daily reservations.
• Refund processing: All refunds will be issued to the original Credit/Debit card. If the original payment method is no longer available, Outpost at Cragford Credit will be issued for 365 days. No exceptions.
Occupancy and Parking:
• Rates include up to 8 adults/children and 2 vehicles per RV site. Additional vehicles or occupants will be charged $15.00 per person or vehicle, per stay.
• Sites are designed for one RV and one vehicle, with adequate space for a second vehicle where available. Parking at other campsites is prohibited. Additional parking is provided in the park to the right of site 1 for overflow vehicles.
Amenities and Facilities
• Provided amenities include water, electric, sewer hookups, trash and Star-link Wi-Fi. Beautiful walking trails are also available for guest use. Please stay on cleared paths and abide by the signs.
• Starlink Wi-Fi is provided for everyone’s use. You will receive the credentials along with the gate code the morning of check in. Limitations may exist during peak times and severe weather. Please limit continuous streaming, so the system can accommodate every guest.
• The park currently does not have a bathhouse or shared facilities. Guests must use their camper’s bathroom and wash facilities.
• The park has multiple cameras that monitor traffic and provide safety to our guests as an automated RV campground. They are not installed to micromanage or monitor guest activities during your stay. All guests must agree to park surveillance during your stay.
Park Rules:
A few Dos and Don'ts: Mostly common sense. We want everyone to have a safe and relaxing time.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. We all like to have a good time but please be respectful to others in the park. Sound travels in this area, please keep your music at a respectable level.
Speed Limit: Please observe a 5 MPH speed limit throughout the park.
Hiking Trails:
• Motorized vehicles are prohibited on ALL trails and within the park. Electric Golf carts are permitted. Trails are designed for hiking. Outpost at Cragford is not responsible or liable for stuck or damaged golf carts. All guests must stay on designated trails and adhere to posted signs.
• There are many old home sites on the property and pose hazards. Outpost at Cragford is not responsible for ANY injuries sustained within the park while hiking or on the property.
Pets:
• We all love our pets but others might not. Please keep your pets on a leash or indoors. Please clean up after your pets and monitor their noise levels and behavior. We want to stay pet friendly.
Site Maintenance:
• Guests are responsible for maintaining their area in a clean and neat condition.
• Walking through other guests’ sites or using unoccupied sites is prohibited. Unoccupied sites are being prepared for future guests. There are 2 trailheads to the walking trails, they are located behind Sites 3 & 8. Please be mindful if there are campers there.
Prohibited Activities:
• Vehicle repair, washing, and oil changes are not permitted on-site. This sounds odd but it does happen.
• Please don't block the ingress and egress on the main loop for other vehicles. Large RV's can be challenging for some to maneuver on gravel roads.
• No discharging of firearms or fireworks.
Water Pressure:
• The water supply operates at HIGH (100 psi) county pressure and may fluctuate. Guests are advised to use an RV water pressure regulator (for 40-50 psi) There should be one on every spicot, please leave it there when you leave. Outpost at Cragford is not liable for water pressure-related damages.
Sewer Connections and Trash:
• Guests must ensure proper sewer connections and clean up any septic spillage.
• Septic systems are VERY sensitive. Please use septic toilet paper and DO NOT flush any toxic or latex items into the system.
• Guest will be responsible for any damage to the utility hook ups at their designated site. Please report any issue.
• Dumpster use is for bagged RV garbage ONLY. Please NO hazardous materials are to be thrown away.
Reservations and Trespassing:
• All reservations must be made through the official website, on the Reservations page.
• Occupying a site without a confirmed reservation is considered trespassing and may result in prosecution.
Management Rights:
• Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. By confirming your reservation, you agree to follow all campground rules, terms, and conditions. Failure to comply may result in removal from the property without refund. Outpost at Cragford is not liable for any accidents, injuries, losses, or damages to persons or property while on the premises, including those caused by acts of God or events beyond our control such as storms, severe weather, falling trees or limbs, flooding, fire, or other natural events.
